SomerStreets in East Somerville

Carnaval @ SomerStreets was a huge success! Thank to you everyone who performed, volunteered, and came out to celebrate East Somerville. We saw over 5000 people enjoying East Broadway, getting to know our local businesses, and getting a peak into what makes this neighborhood so great! Check out our pictures here. What is SomerStreets? SomerStreets is an initiative by the City of Somerville and its partners to close the streets to cars and open them to activity! Join us for the 2nd Annual East Somerville portion of these events! On June 5th from 12-4pm, Broadway will be blocked off from Sullivan Square to Temple Street (Star Market) to make room for dancing, cycling, skating and fun!
