It's Tuesdays: 

It's Tuesdays is a district wide event on Tuesdays in East Somerville, start at the It's Tuesdays events and head out for local restaurant Tuesday specials and other activities! 

"It's Tuesday"  builds from the success of First Tuesdays and Two for Tuesdays, celebrating the East Broadway Business District as a culinary and cultural destination.  See you Tuesday! 

 

June 18 - 6pm - PERU, PERU
Live Peruvian Music

Enjoy delicious local treats and experience the rich and vibrant sounds of SON DEL SOL’s marriage of Latin American rhythms and Andean folklore.


 

June 25 - 5pm* - PEDALS & PUPPETS

Bike Night, Puppet show

ESMS, Shape Up Somerville, MassBike and Strider host an evening of exciting bike themed family friendly activities. Followed by Puppet Palooza’s presentation of “Goldie” at The Capuano School’s Glen Park. 5pm event!

 

July 2 – 6pm - PUPPETS & PATSYS II

Pastry reception, Live puppet show

Treat yourself to Patsy’s famous pastries, music, and community in front of the East Branch Library. Followed by Puppet Palooza’s presentations of “Schnurzpiepegal” and “Don Chico Con Alas” at Connexion.

 

July 9 -  6pm - PORTRAITS & PIZZA

Free Family Portrait Night, Free Pizza

Be sure to bring smiles, friends, and family for family portraits—absolutely FREE  -- Silly Shots available too, with photographer Cesar Morales.  Free fresh slices from the incomparable Vinny's.

 

July 16 – 6pm - MUSIC & MINUTAS

Live music w/ Diane Cline, Salvadoran icees!

Cool off from the summer heat with traditional Salvadoran icees and bask in the sweet sounds of Diane Cline with Trio.

 

July 23 – 6pm - PIÑATAS & PUPUSAS

Live music w/ Diane Cline, pupusas, piñata creation

Prepare for fun times this summer and create your own unique piñata while enjoying delicious, local pupusas - a traditional salvadoran stuffed tortilla). Diane Cline returns!

 

July 30 – 6pm - SALSA & SALSA

Free salsa class w/ Stewart Herrera

Learn some spicy dance moves and enjoy music, friends, and community with a free salsa class by Stewart Herrera. Plus, free local cuisine!
