Luis came to Somerville in 1980, to escape the war in El Salvador. He explains how ever since he arrived, he has felt a responsibility toward the other Salvadorans who have followed. As he chats about his philanthropic work, why Salvadorans open Mexican restaurants and why this place is called Taco Loco, Luis Jr. chimes in, giving us his take on the changing neighborhood.
