Lunch Aide, East Somerville Community School

When not working down the street at the East Somerville Community School, Michelle is passionate about her work as a Jehovah's witness, as she will tell you. Michelle's mom brought her and her siblings to East Somerville from Haiti in 1975, when so many Haitians left due to political oppression and economic hardship. These days Michelle loves Haiti and Somerville equally; "both have a Carnival!," she exclaims.
